Rooted in Love Part 4 By Teresa Fields

Ephesians 3:17 (AMPC)
May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love…

In this last blog, we will spend time learning to dwell in God’s Love and put our roots deep down into this foundation. I will let these scriptures speak for themselves and bring revelation of how wonderful His Love is for us. All verses are taken from the Amplified Classic version unless otherwise stated.

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations…

Psalms 5:7
But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.

Psalms 25:10
All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalms 36:5, 7
5 Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.
7 How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge and put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

Psalms 13:5-6
5 But I have trusted, leaned on, and been confident in Your mercy and loving-kindness; my heart shall rejoice and be in high spirits in Your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.

Psalms 100:5
For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations.

Psalms 103:11-13
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe].

Romans 5:8
But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.

God demonstrated His Love for us by sending Christ to die for us when we were still sinners! Through Jesus, we can now be included in the family of God and even called His children.

1 John 3:1a
SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should be named and called and counted the children of God…

And finally, the truth that nothing we do or don’t do can separate us from this unshakable Love of God:

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Be Planted In His Love,
