Mary and I had a wonderful time interviewing Scott Schmitt. Learning about his life and his journey that God has lead him on. I love the music Scott writes and he is spinning on the radio station. Scott is a local artist here in Pittsburgh, PA. We went over his testimony, and as we do he opened with a prayer. I loved the time we had with Scott, his candidness, transparency and honesty of his story and what inspired him to write his music.

Scott was in a band before his ministry, that he feels was prepping him for bigger things. Scott was raised Catholic and always loved God. I think this is really reflected in his music. He is an amazing songwriter and I do love his voice. Scott’s acoustic guitar work is wonderful to hear and experience. I have to admit I love his songs and they are on my iPhone like when I plugged him on the show, that is how I really feel about his music

Scott was one of the artists that when I heard him on “Worship Cafe Radio” it would be like I have to get him on the show. One of my personal songs is Shine, but I love the guitar work on “How Does it Feel” especially the musical harmony, with another string like instrument. I really love that song, the whole feeling, composition, the message. I play his music when I go about my normal day. I have him on my iPhone. (and he is on the station)

We had about an hour with Scott (interview was about 54 minutes) with 5 of his chosen songs playing in between each of his backstories. I truly hope it blesses everyone with an hour of wonderful, thoughtful rock and acoustic music and the stories behind them from Scott. I want to thank Scott for being a wonderful and amazing guest.

his five songs that we had back stories to are listed below:

1. Lord Send Me
2. How does it Feel
3. Your Love will Find Me
4. Falling Into You
5. Shine

I feel this testimonial will bless you, it’s a good account about how God can do amazing things in your life.
